QuikStor keypads must be installed and grounded using approved wiring and grounding techniques. Photos of installation and proper grounding are required before your QuikStor Infinity warranty can be activated.
You can download a copy of the Infinity Access Control Manual here.
Installation & Grounding
The following illustrations demonstrate installation with QuikStor approved grounding techniques. Please refer to these images and tips to ensure proper installation and grounding of your Infinity keypads.

B. Grounding rod cannot be more than 6 feet away from the keypad circuit board.
C. Grounding rod length should be 6 to 8 feet.

Required Photos
Once your keypad is installed, we will need the following four pictures of each keypad you wish to cover by warranty.
1. Keypad Interior
Keypad open, clearly showing internal wiring and serial number*, as demonstrated in the image above.
*The serial number is the four-digit number on the blue sticker that says "QuikStor Infinity Keypad."
TIP: this should not be a closeup on the serial number or other internal component - the full interior of the keypad should be visible.
2. Grounding
A photo showing the keypad properly grounded, with the keypad grounding wire running from the keypad through the gooseneck or conduit, grounded to an earth ground rod no more than 6' away from the keypad.
Please Note:
- If providing a close-up of the grounding, such as in the image above, a second wide view of the same image is required.
- If proper grounding cannot be determined by the photos you provide, additional photos may be requested.
3. Keypad Exterior
Picture that includes the closed keypad and the gooseneck/what the keypad is mounted to, as demonstrated in the images above.
4. Hardwire Connection
Photo of keypad Ethernet cables plugged into router.
5. Proof of Power Supply
The power supply that ships with your QuikStor keypad is the only approved method by which QuikStor Infinity keypads may be powered. Use of any non-QuikStor power supply will void the warranty.
For Infinity systems with more than one keypad, each keypad must be powered with its own power supply. Do not share a single power supply with multiple keypads. Doing so will void the warranty.
For proof of power supply, please submit a photo that shows how the QuikStor power supply is connected.
Each photo must be labeled with the facility name and the keypad serial number so that we can match everything accordingly. This can either be included in the photo itself, for example written on a notecard, or can be included in the file name.
Once we receive these pictures and the completed warranty form for each keypad, we will review them and request corrections if needed. Once we have verified proper installation and grounding, we'll send the warranty verification to you to keep on record.
