nViewer Setup Instructions for iOS – QuikStor

nViewer is an iOS app for viewing footage from your DVR. Available for your Android or Apple iOS smartphone, this app allows you to view your facilities' cameras anywhere your cell phone receives a connection. Keep in mind the Lite version does NOT offer PTZ control. The full version includes the capability to control your PTZ Cameras.

To Install nViewer for iOS:

From the server list screen, hit the + button to add a new DVR (referred to as “server”)
Enter a name for your DVR. My DVR works if you only have one, but you can name it whatever you would like.
Type in the IP address in the URL field.

(This can’t be a local IP but has to be the IP provided by your ISP. Use the website below if you need help finding this information. http://www.whatismyip.com/ )
The HTTP and RTSP Ports can be found on the network screen of your DVR. See pictures for how to get there.

The ID and password are from your DVR as well. The default is ADMIN and 1234

With all of this complete. Hit the save button to close the window.

Simply tap on the save button to complete the process and go back to the server list, where you can now connect to your DVR from your phone.
