Quikstor Cloud has built-in options to help you manage your QuikStor hosted website or e-commerce pages. These options are found in the Website Editor.
How to Access the Website Editor
1. Login to QuikStor Cloud.
2. Select Configuration from the top menu bar, and then click on Website Editor from the dropdown menu.
This will bring you to the main configuration screen. Along the left, you'll see a menu that links to various sections of the website.
These menu items are listed below, along with a brief description of each. Underlined text is clickable, and links to more in-depth articles on the customizations that you are able to make.
Configuration
General options for Online Rentals, Reservations, and Payments. It also controls the website color scheme and other design options, including the logo.
Slugs - A slug is the part of a URL that identifies a particular page on a website in an easy-to-read form.
(i.e. in google.com/maps, "maps" is the slug) Setting this part up is how the links are displayed on the website. Slugs are necessary to create when a new custom page is built.
Menu - Menu Items is where you will go in and set up the Menu Links. A Menu link is a link located in the header of the website that allows navigation to different pages. Here you will be able to assign slugs to the menu items so the customer can navigate through the website.
Custom Pages
Custom pages that display text, pictures, or a combination of pictures and text can be created here and added to your website.
Sections - Here you can add "Sections" to the home page of the website. You can add as many as you'd like, but keep in mind More Data to load = slower loading website.
Slides - The Slides menu is where we're able to configure the Slider images that scroll continuously on the website. There is no limit to how many you can have, but keep in mind the more content that needs loading, the slower the page itself loads.
Links - This is where you assign the slug to a link. This area is for the default pages and should have already been configured by our design team beforehand.
Meta Data - Metadata is content descriptors that help tell search engines what a web page is about.
Custom Scripts
Here you can add custom HTML scripts to your website. This is commonly used for services like Google Analytics. Please reach out to support@quikstor.com for any additional questions about this section.
Sidebar
In this section, you will be able to customize the Gate Hours, Office Hours, and Facility Features that appear on the "Sidebar" displayed on the Site Tour and Why Us pages.
Footer - Add, remove, or change the content in the Footer of the website. This includes your site information, contact us form, and other options.
Site Directions - Create step-by-step directions to your facility to be displayed on the Directions page.
Contact Us - Here you can add a message to display on your Contact Us page. This page displays all of your information and a map of where your facility is.
Custom Messages - Custom messages can be added to many pages on your QuikStor website and/or Ecommerce Pages. Use the dropdown to select the page you wish to add the message to. You can then add in your custom message in both English and Spanish if desired. Each language must be added one at a time.
Custom Checkout Messages - This area allows you to add custom HTML messages to the checkout pages. Because this area accepts HTML, you can even embed video or other elements to make your checkout pages uniquely yours.
Custom Checkout Titles - This area allows you to add customize the titles of each of the checkout sections.
Document Upload - This area allows you to add document upload prompts to the checkout section for online rentals. You must add at least one translation (English or Spanish) for the field to work.
